The Nike PG 5 explores the idea that comfort is the first step to controlling pace on the basketball court. That’s why the full-length Nike Air Dot Weld Strobel cushioning of the PG 4 returns, now paired to a new lightweight, low-top profile. It’s all in service of silky-smooth movement across the floor, exemplified by the shoe’s namesake, Paul George. The PG 5 ditches the exterior shroud that was used on the PG 4. It features a mesh constructed upper with synthetic overlays, exposed stitching on the toe area, Extra elements on the upper can be found by way of exposed stitches at the forefoot, an eyeliner-shaped eye stay near the ankle and a duo of Swooshes that split between a medium sized version on the lateral heel and miniature embroidered logo on the medial.
