As part of Nike’s Air Force 1 40th Anniversary rollout, Serena covers the zippered AF1 in a deep purple/blue “Lapis” hue, embossed with flourishes throughout. This Nike Air Force 1 is completely laceless and has a gold zipper on the front to secure the shoes. The upper is entirely monochromatic in a bright shade of blue, which features an embossed floral print. The insole also features a floral print design and a gold Nike Swoosh. The signature Nike Swoosh on the upper opts for an embroidered silhouette rather than a traditional leather overlay. Tongues are designed with tabs that feature SWDC’s signature “10 4 01” logo while the heels trade out the usual Nike branding for her signature. As a final touch, Serena leaves her mark with an embroidered signature on the heel tabs completed with graphic insoles.
