Showcasing a color combination inspired by Los Angeles’ storied NBA franchise is the Union LA x Nike Dunk Low “Lakers.” The upper is made with semi-translucent ripstop textile that reveals a purple underlay on the toe box, quarter panel and collar. Ridding of the traditional leather fabrics that are used on this model, Union wraps the entire base with synthetic grid patterns, the overlays of which are supplied with white finishes while the toe boxes, quarters and collars are dialed to a darker purple. Uppers are constructed entirely of a gridded synthetic material, with hi-vis reflective detailing appearing on the Swooshes and heels and loose threads hanging from the overlays. Other details consist of UN/LA tags at the midfoot, along with Union’s halo man on the lateral ankle button, forefoot, and outsole.
