The Nike Air Deldon (Elena Delle Donne’s first signature shoe) is given the “Be True” treatment. This colorful iteration of the model pays tribute to October’s LGBTQIA+ History Month. The Nike Air Deldon Be True is highlighted by its colorful gradient upper along with the matching insoles. Running up the tongue is a set of tonal beige laces with colorful hits sprinkled throughout, sitting just below the grey textile tongue. While the sneaker’s Flyease upper, mixed material construction, co-branding and Air Strobel-backed sole unit make a return, the focus of this colorway is being true to oneself. Working back to the collar, a leather Flyease strap featuring Delle Donne’s logo on the lateral side and “BETRUE” split between both pairs on the medial side allows for easy on-and-off wear while the Nike Swoosh just below wraps around the silhouette, acting as a pull tab. Underfoot, a foam midsole gets paired with a multi-color rubber outsole.
