DC8865-600 Nike Waffle Trainer 2 “K2” Gym Red/Metallic Gold Star-Hyper Royal-Black 2021

K2, called locally Dapsang or Chogori and dubbed the Savage Mountain, is the world’s second highest peak—bested by only 779 feet by Mount Everest. On September 6th and 7th, 1978, a 14-person team worked together, led by famed climber Jim Whittake, to get four members to the summit, becoming the first Americans and third team in history to do so. To commemorate the moment, Nike will be releasing its second Waffle Trainer 2 in a Gym Red, Metallic Gold Star, Hyper Royal, and Black color blocking. It also comes with special detailing including a mountain graphic on the tongue label, stamp-like logos on the sock liners and the “NIKE” text o the heel is overlaid with “K2” lettering.
