Featuring the same build as the Air Max Plus, Nike has added new features to the silhouette for an updated fresh new look. The silhouette also comes decked out in recycled polyester that’s comprised of 10% Nike Grind, which is a material made from recycled waste, so just as the shoe looks like a new ERA, the materials and meaning behind the updates marks a new ERA in Nike footwear. The upper comes in a white mesh with design elements of the Nike Air Max Plus stitched in. For its upper build, the main material utilized is an angelic ripstop pattern that features exposed monochromatic stitchings on the toe boxes and heels as well as a layer of mesh on the quarter panel. Instead of the usual mid-foot Swoosh, this silhouette bears bigger sized Nike checks that appear in black on both sides, the lateral wall being skewed to the forefoot while the medial side is placed in the center. Finally, the brand swaps out the Tn logo at heel for a new TS emblem done in the groovy font utilized across the Space Hippie footwear line. Instead of Phylon, the Terrascape Plus uses Crater foam, made of recycled materials in the midsole with the Whale tail-inspired TPU shank plate in the midfoot. A forefoot and heel Air Max unit is used and a Grind Rubber outsole finishes off the sneaker.
