Continuing a tradition that began in 2012 with the KD4, the Nike KD 13 “Aunt Pearl” showcases a delicate design that celebrates the memory of Kevin Durant’s beloved aunt, who passed away from lung cancer in 2000. Designed to drive cancer research funding through a partnership with the Kay Yow Cancer fund—the KD 13 “Aunt Pearl” is the tenth edition of this celebrated franchise. This special edition Nike KD 13 features an upper dressed in Pink, contrasted by an abalone pearl inspired Swoosh and sole. Iridescent Swoosh branding highlights the side wall, while underfoot, the midsole houses Zoom Air for cushioning, giving way to a marbled print on the rubber outsole. To honor the spirit of Aunt Pearl, a portion of proceeds from this shoe will go towards finding cures for women’s cancers.
